Happy Star Wars Day!

I think things are progressing… slowly, but nicely. I started to see weeds pop up in the bare spots, so I hit them with some RoundUp this morning. I’m not sure if I mentioned it before, but since I am focused on growth right now, I’m going to put off using a pre-emergent weed killer until the fall. Instead, I’ll just keep hitting whatever pops up with RoundUp so the St. Augustine has every opportunity this growing season.

Compared to the 4/13 picture at nearly the same angle, you can definitely see how the grass is getting thicker and spreading.

And here you can see the stolens working their way across a big bare spot.
